Beautiful song “Mom” by Garth appropiate song for me and all other moms & expectant moms

To all Moms and mom to be’s. I know this will touch your heart as much as it has mine.To say it’s a Beautiful song is an understatement and does not do the lyrics justice .it’s one of those songs that will never ever leave you.Since a good friend of mine Heather Mangold sent this song to me I keep repeating it,cannot get enough of it and it still has the same effect /the same knot in my throat punch everytime I listen to it. So here’s me sharing the heck out of this song..Enjoy!”

In one of the sweetest songs Garth Brooks has every performed, his new song, “Mom” is bringing tears to everyone’s eyes. Garth explains that the song is a conversation between an unborn child and God and the lyrics go on to explain the love a mother has for her child. What a touching and beautiful song!

The WHATEVER, DUDE Guide to Surviving Your Two Year-Old

REMEMBER THESE WORDS..” I’m SO never having kids…no really ,not a chance dude!
Well here’s a cute read on how to handle the aftermath of that statement..Reminds me to enjoy your child and all their milestones( yip including the terrible 2’s) they do grow up so fast afterall.

Priss & Vinegar

IMG_8574Two in a nutshell.

I’ve lost track of how many readers have asked for advice about two year-olds, because, well, two year-olds. Two is the heart of toddlerhood and the noisy swan song of babyhood. It’s no wonder parents dread it so.

But you guys, seriously, two isn’t that bad. (And I made it harder on myself by adding a newborn to the mix.) Looking at it in the rearview, the infamy of two year-olds really does seem undeserved. They still nap regularly; they’re ADORABLE; and they’re getting smarter but are still just dumb enough to fall for your parenting tricks (“Oh, look! A firetruck!”)

This is not to say that two is easy: it can be angsty and embarrassing and messy and infuriating, but more than anything else, it’s FRUSTRATING. Frustrating that they dawdle on the way to school, frustrating that they want to wear insane mismatched outfits, frustrating that they just can’t sit…

Breakfast time!!!
Yummy to say the least…after reading her crazy sense of humor …a lovely breakfast idea😋

If you ogle food photos on the regular like everyone ever, you’ve probably come across Shakshuka. After initial thoughts of “HEY WHAT A FUN WORD” subside, you have a choice: Make the Shakshuka that basically just undressed you with its eyes, or button up and move along to more food porn. Being a BWOACIS (Bitch Without A Cast Iron Skillet) myself, I always thought Shakshuka was just another unreachable dream. The dragon of my post-meal stupors.

Now, I know what you’re thinking, “WOW SHAKSHUKA IS STILL SUCH A FUN WORD,” but also “Hey Molly, just buy a cast iron skillet already.” Excellent argument. But they look so heavy and I don’t have a car. The better, equally extremely obvious answer is just use a baking dish. Dipshit. So that’s what happened. What an exciting turn of events!

Let’s talk about Shakshuka (FUN!) for a bit. It’s a Tunisian dish of poached eggs in…

Your Pit Bull

It’s lengthy but A Beautiful read…in fact a Must read! Teaches us so much, reminds us of so much and encourages us to do much more. His story to his baby speaks volumes.Enjoy this share.

The Dad Letters

Dear River,

I want to tell you a story about your dog, Zoe. We found her cowering at the pound. She wasn’t barking like the other dogs. She was simply laying there, looking up at us. The tag said, “lab mix” and she was slated to be killed in a week. We fell for it, thinking we were buying a lab.

She is not a lab. She is a pit bull.

As Zoe grew, we came to realize the pound had lied. I was scared. I felt irresponsible for letting this type of dog into my home. All of the stereotypes, preconceptions and worries filled my mind. Should I take her back? What would people think of us?

She is the definition of disenfranchised. When first time guests visit we lock her in her cage, not because she is dangerous, but because of unspoken fears. She receives wary glances from strangers as…
